I read empire of silence last month and I despise Hadrian and I feel like I’m the only one that just doesn’t like him at all. I haven’t continued the series because I want to reread empire of silence. I goofed on ghost station because I confused it for calypso when I bought It. Love your taste in books. I’m annoyed a I haven’t seen your channel before

Hi Tori! I read, The Will of the Many via audiobook. I was not at all impressed, and then the ending messed up my mind. Anyway, I think my main problem IS audiobook because I am so easily distracted. I will definitely reread the physical book so I can completely focus! 😂

Super curious about your opinion on The Unbroken when you get to it! I read it a cpuple months ago, and after some feral screaming over *gestures vaguely at the plot and characters* I was left with some mixed feelings that I haven't fully resolved yet

So many people have recommended The Will of the Many to me. I need to read it this year. Favorite book of the year is Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon. It is absolutely brilliant. ❤

I could not finish Trials of Empire...that book scared me soooo bad. I threw it across the room. The creatures that live under ground had me feeling some kinda way (eeeck!) Will pick it up again when my courage is built back up and my imagination is lagging.

I just bought These Burning Stars for my Kindle. I noticed that your recommendations are often of books I’ve loved in the pas, like The Will of the Many. By the way, have you read Brian McClellan’s, “In the Shadow of Lightning”? That’s been my book of the year so far and is amazing. Full of living breathing characters that you care about and grow to love, a mystery that grips you, wonderful world building and an incredible rollercoaster of a plot that makes it unputdownable. James Islington’s three recommendations on Fantasic Fiction are: The Silverblood Promise, The Trials of Empire, and In the Shadow of Lightening and the latter is in the same league as the other books.

I read These burning stars after I saw your fav books of 2023 video, and it really blew me away. I still can't stop thinking about how good that book is. Afterwards I got adventures of amina al sirafi, children of memory and the grace of kings lol. After that book I definitely trust your recommendations;) ps. I've had the 12 kings of... for awhile and i sorta dnf it (barely gave it chance tbh)but i'll give it another try!

These Burning Stars and Amina El-Sirafi are beyond excellent!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 If you want an adventure, read Amina in front of a mist fan and you will feel as though you are riding on the seas with her and her crew. 🤣

I loved "The Mimicking..." and These Burning Stars and I have The Burning series on my TBR. I almost picked up The Silverblood Promise" but I'm trying to refrain from starting too many new fantasy series, especially until I finished The Wheel of Time.

I loved Recursion. They've made a series of Dark Matter.
